Safety & Training

Sieve Contractors' commitment to safety:

Ensuring all employees go home to their families after each workday.

Sieve Contractors' most valuable resource is its employees. Our owners, managers,
and employees know that nothing is more important than each person's safety. All employees share a personal responsibility for their own safety, the safety of their co- workers, and the associated crafts. From day one employees of Sieve Contractors are authorized, empowered, and obligated to stop any task where they feel unsafe conditions, behaviors, or activities are taking place. This is outlined to them in new hire orientation and specifically outlined on their personal Sieve Contractors

“STOP WORK CARD”.

Our employees need to be knowledgeable of the potential hazards of their job and the various environments where they provide services. We educate our employees during their new hire orientation and continue educating them throughout their careers. Our safety training encompasses both in-person and online training. Our employees are required to complete an OSHA 10 course.

The safety culture within the organization is based on the belief that all our work can be performed in an incident and injury free environment. The emphasis we place on safety is reflected in our historical Experience Modification Rate (EMR), which is shown below.

EMR 2024 .87
EMR 2023 .91
